I’m Rob Swanson from Denver, Colorado.
I’m an active real estate investor and I buy 10+ houses per month. We run up to 15 to 20 rehab crews and we wholesale, retail and hold real estate for profit. I am an expert at wholesaling, raising private money and getting paid in many ways on every deal I do.
REAL LIFE “REAL ESTATE STUFF”
I have invested in 13 different states using many techniques “right out of the book” and I founded a non-profit housing rehab development organization to improve housing and reinvest 100% of the proceeds back into the local community.
I remember the days of not knowing what to do next, not knowing where to spend my time and not knowing how the heck to make money investing in real estate.
I remember asking, “If everybody else is doing it and making so much money, why aren’t I”?
THE “STUFF THAT MATTERS”
I am a husband, father of 3 and I really enjoy what real estate investing has done for me and my family.
I enjoy, skiing, rock climbing, camping, running and all things outdoors. That’s right, I live in Colorado.
JUST “COOL STUFF” – At Least I Think It’s Sorta Cool ..
I’ve been investing in real estate for about 10 years and am the founder of the Colorado Property Investors Association (http://www.DenverCOPIA.com).
I have been interviewed multiple times on CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, by Forbes, Money and Business 2.0 Magazines, countless newspapers across the country and have been the featured guest on many radio programs regarding real estate investing. That’s sorta cool.
THE “FUN STUFF” I GET TO DO NOW
Well, ten years later, I am successful with my multi-million dollar real estate investing business and I am willing to share with you what I’ve learned after making every mistake in the book and succeeding.
Now, while I don’t jet-set around the country every week and speak (remember – wife and 3 kiddo’s), I do find the time and enjoy the opportunity to get around now and then to teach on exactly what I do and how I created success for me and my family as a full-time real estate investor.
Who knows, maybe we’ll meet face to face sometime soon.

Rob, Colorado is beautiful. Lived in Wyoming for 3 years (Laramie), so I know.
I would like so much to get started making a real life for myself, my three kids (one disabled), and my parents.
I see opportunities in local real estate market, I know it is possible to make advantage of them, but I need help to get started. Called an agent about a wholesale property, she wanted a proof of funds letter before showing it, and it’s never been inspected. I live in a college town, with most people with a different mindset from that of an entrepreneur. I am successful in academia, but that does not expand or improve our lives.

hey rob, i’m lookin to get started in the business. it looks like the easiest way is to wholesale (unless i’m wrong) to generate cash flow. where i am most afraid is the legal aspects of all this real estate stuff. i don’t want to get into a situation where i get sued. i am inquiiring about what types of educations your club offers. I have some knowledge, but will most likely need a mentor to really get going. Thanks for your reply.
